At Ambiance Chocolat, our boutique chocolates reflect our passion for superior quality, commitment to freshness and imaginative combinations resulting in unforgettable taste experiences. By using fair trade and local ingredients where possible, we are contributing to the sustainable way of living in our community and beyond.

Our chocolates are handcrafted on the premises, using original recipes created by chocolatier Patrick Smets. Patrick uses Michel Cluizel and Valrhona chocolate as his base, skillfully combining single origin chocolates and blends with hand-picked ingredients, both fresh and preserved, to create the best tasting treats possible. Freshness is imperative to a great tasting chocolate, which is why we limit our production to small batches.

The company founders – three friends Beata, Patrick and Stanka bring to the table over 30 years of collective chocolate experience. A vision and dream of their own was realized in 2007 with the creation of Ambiance Chocolat.  Located in Toronto’s Riverside District, Ambiance Chocolat offers a warm relaxing environment, whether you stay in for coffee and treats, or stop by for the gift of beautifully wrapped chocolates to share the love.
